Prathidhwani Qisa Film Festival 2017 – (PQFF 2017 ) Short film festival of IT Employees Kerala – Registration started

The prestigious film festival of Technopark which has been attracting the film lovers of Trivandrum – Prathidhwani’s Qisa” is inviting entries from IT employees all over Kerala. The short film festival which is stepping into its 6th edition is conducted by PRATHIDHWANI – the Socio-Cultural &  Welfare Organization Since last year, Prathidhwani Qisa Film Festival 2017 ( PQFF 2017) has set the platform for IT employees from over 600 companies in Kerala including Technopark, Infopark and Cyber Park to showcase their talents. The jury consists of National -State award winners Sri Siddartha Shiva, Vidhu Vincent and the acclaimed film critic Sri M F Thomas as the chairman. The last date for submitting the entries is 25th November 2017. The selected films will be screened on 2nd December 2017 at Travancore Hall, Technopark.

Along with mementos, a cash award of Rs 11,111/- awaits the Best Film and Rs 5,555/- each for Second Best Film, Best Script & Best Director respectively. Best Performer (male/female), Cinematographer, Editor, and Music Director will also receive special awards.There’ll be a film review competition along with festival and the details regarding the same will be published on our website soon.
125 short films by the Techies have been premiered in Prathidhwani’s Qisa festivals up till now. The winners received the awards from the acclaimed personalities of the film industry: Sri Shaji N Karun (2012), Sri Vineeth Srinivasan (2013), Sri Adoor Gopalakrishnan (2014), Sri Shyamaprasad (2015), Sri Jayaraj  (2016) in previous years.
It’s mandatory that the Director & the scriptwriter should be an employee of an IT company in Kerala. The running time of the film should be between 2 to 45 minutes. Films that participated in previous Qisa festivals will not be considered for this year’s festival.

Prathidhwani Qisa Film Festival 2016 – (PQFF 2016 ) Short film festival of IT Employees Kerala – Registration started After the impressive editions of Qisa 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, Socio-Cultural Organisation of Technopark Employees – ‘Prathidhwani’ is back with its magnum opus, this time its festival of all IT employees in Kerala. Prathidhwani’s Qisa Film Festival 2016 ( PQFF 2016) is the short film festival to be conducted for the 5th time in Technopark. The film festival, slated for 2016 December 3rd, Saturday in Travancore hall of Park Centre, intends to provide a platform for film-makers and film enthusiasts to explore short cinema. Being a short film festival it is the greatest opportunities for all the techie film makers to show case their works in front of the whole IT community. It’s an occasion for around 1 lakh IT professionals from around 600 IT companies inside the Kerala to watch and feel what IT film community has for them. The movies will be reviewed by a judging panel headed by film critic Sri. M F Thomas, a state award winner for the best book on cinema for “Addorinte chalathira yathrakal” in 2006 and jury panel of national and state award committee, several times. State award winning film Directors Sri. Sanal Kumar Sasidharan & Smt Sreebala K Menon also will be part of the jury. Film Screening of competition films will be held in 3rd December 2016 at Technopark, Trivandrum. The registration of films for the festival is planned till 25th November 2016. Prathidhwani's Qisa Film Festival (PQFF 2016) - for IT Employees Kerala – 32 films screened on 3rd December & awards announced same day by Jury Chairman Shri. M.F. Thomas. Jury members Shri. Sanal Kumar Sasidharan and Smt. Sreebala K. Menon were present. Award distribution ceremony on December 8th, Thursday at Travancore hall. Famous Malayalam director Sri Jayaraj will be the chief guest. Award winning movies & Sidhartha Siva's film "Chathuram" first time ever in Kerala will be screened soon after the award ceremony. We request all film lovers of Technopark to Travancore hall on 8th December.
